Before anything is ordered, Snaphome plan the system against your floor plan — where the switch points go, how many hubs the flat needs to stay reliable end to end, which circuits the aircon controllers sit on, and what has to be decided before the walls close. This is the step that decides whether the finished system feels considered or improvised, and it is the reason the floor plan matters more than any other thing you can send.
Professional installation
Certified installers fit the hardware. It is included in every package price on this page rather than quoted afterwards, which matters when you are comparing a Snaphome figure against a device-only price somewhere else — smart switches and motorised window treatments are not products you unbox and mount yourself, and an installation line added later is where a cheap quotation usually stops being cheap.
Two categories carry installation as a separate figure because the work genuinely varies: ceiling fans are $50 on a concrete ceiling and $150 on a false ceiling, since a false ceiling needs a bracket and access that a concrete slab does not.
System configuration
Installation puts the hardware in. Configuration is what turns it into something you actually use — rooms grouped sensibly, scenes that match how the household moves through the day, schedules, and the whole thing paired to your phone and to whichever voice assistant you already own. A system integrator does this as part of the package, and the handover at the end of it is the point the system becomes yours.
Warranty
Every category is warranted, and the term runs from configuration handover rather than from delivery. The length differs by category and is worth reading before you compare two quotations: five years on-site for window coverings, five years on laundry rack motors, ten years on ceiling fan motors with two years on-site, three years on lighting and locks, ten years on kitchen glass with one year on-site, and one year on gas water heaters.

If the renovation has not started
This is the position that gives you every option and the lowest cost. Wired Zeus-PC switches are the cheaper of the two switch systems, and they only stay cheap while the electrician is still on site and the conduits are still open. The same applies to recessed power track, to motorised curtain tracks that want a power point above the window, and to any lighting layout that is not simply a swap of existing fittings. If the walls are already closed
Nothing is lost, and this is exactly the problem kinetic switches solve. A kinetic switch powers itself from the press, so it needs no wiring and no battery and can be mounted on glass, on tile, or on a wall that was never chased for a switch drop. Placement becomes a decision about where you actually want to reach for a light, rather than where the conduit happened to run. Surface-mounted power track, smart locks, ceiling fans, motorised laundry racks and the Wi-Fi system are all retrofit-friendly for the same reason.
What can safely wait
Touch panels can be added to a working system later, and they usually take over an existing switch position rather than needing new wall work. Additional switches, extra modules and further Wi-Fi access points are all priced individually as add-ons, so a system can be started at package size and grown as rooms get used. Smart locks and laundry racks are effectively independent of the rest — they can be bought at any point without touching the switch system.
What is worth settling early
Hub and gateway count, because coverage across a whole flat depends on it. Ceiling type, because it changes fan installation and any recessed lighting. And whether you have an ecosystem you are committed to already — Aqara, Tuya, Google, Apple or Alexa — since that is easier to plan around at the start than to work back towards once hardware is on the wall.

Yes. Touch panels come in three sizes — 3.5 inch, 4.0 inch and 7.0 inch — and can be specified at the start or added to a working system afterwards. They are wall-mounted controllers for scenes and rooms, so they generally take over a switch position rather than needing a new one cut into the wall.
